Pam Hunt Biology Slideshow Lecture

Pam Hunt, Senior Biologist at the NH Audubon will be the guest speaker at the 2015 Annual SRK Greenway Meeting. Pam’s talk, “Dragons and Damsels of New Hampshire,” will provide an overview of the biology and ecology of dragonflies and damselflies in New Hampshire.

No stranger to New London, Pam was an adjunct faculty member at Colby-Sawyer College for five years before accepting her current job as Avian Conservation Biologist at NH Audubon. She works closely with NH Fish and Game to coordinate and prioritize bird research and monitoring in the state and is
the author of NH’s “State of the Birds” report.

Pam will show us some of the Granite State’s notable species from the fascinating world of the insect order Odonata and she will share results of the “NH Dragonfly Survey,” a five year volunteer -based project that documented the distribution of these insects across the state.

Join us on Sunday March 15th in the downstairs hall at Our Lady Fatima Church, 724 Main St. in New London, NH. Her slideshow is sponsored by the Sunapee Ragged Kearsarge Greenway Coalition and will be a part of their 2015 Annual meeting.
